History

2001

An elephant design from a series of Animal Post Cards sold extremely well.

2002

The elephant design was introduced in a large variety of products.
- Letter Sets, Badges, Stickers, Pen Cases, Pill Cases, Posters, Key Chains, Umbrellas, Diaries, Magnets, etc.
- Along with the production of these items, the elephant was named “ELPH” and his friends were invited into a group that was later named “ELPH'S CIRCUS”.
- In addition, ELPH's girlfriend's name is “epha”, her brother's name is “hant” so if you combine the three, it spells out “ELEPHANT”!

2003

Piggy Banks, T-Shirts, Lunch Box, Tote Bags were released as well as a Book that was sold at many bookstores around Japan. With the growth of “ELPH'S CIRCUS”, there were many fairs held at stores around the country. Also, released stuffed animals that sold extremely well.

2004 - 2008

Due to the large popularity of ELPH and his friends, Artemis continues to introduce many new products for our fans.

2009

A very well known beverage distribution company “SUNTORY” decided to use ELPH'S CIRCUS for their campaign on one of their beverages called “DAKARA”.

Integration of design, sales, and logistic departments. Home office moves to 4-5-1-2F Yoyogi Shibuya-ku Tokyo.

1999

Establishment of distribution center and showroom, “Lunaute.” Expansion of home office.

2001

Registration of Lunaute as a trademark

2002

Opening of French restaurant, “L'ARTEMIS”

2003

Purchase of Karel & Joseph Capek Brothers' license. Registration of ELPH'S CIRCUS as a trademark and solo exhibition of ELPH'S CIRCUS picture book at Shinjuku Isetan Exhibition Hall.

2004

Establishment of branch office in Bali, Indonesia.

2005

License agreement with Tezuka Production to begin production of Atom (Astro Boy), Black Jack, and Pinoko lines.

2006

Establishment of Overseas Promotion Department / Opening of Bistrot, “D'ARTEMIS”

2007

Took part in the Paperworld event in Frankfurt, Germany, and the New York International Gift Fair.

2008
